I feel like a lot of rock was sub-par last year. Maybe that's why I haven't been doing the mini-reviews as regularly (although I hope to change that)

Then again, my opinion could have completely changed from a few months ago, when I was slightly more lukewarm. That's why most magazine album reviews don't work - they need to let the album ripen a little.
